By using freevCardQR (freevcardqr.com, the “Service”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. The Service is operated by an independent developer based in Chandigarh, India (“we”, “us”).
freevCardQR is a free tool that generates static vCard QR codes entirely in your browser. No account is needed, and the QR codes you create do not depend on our servers — they keep working even if this website goes offline. We may change, improve, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.
You are solely responsible for the information you enter into the generator, including its accuracy and your right to use it (for example, uploading a logo you are permitted to use). The QR codes, images, and files you generate are yours: you may use them for any lawful personal or commercial purpose, free of charge, with no attribution required. The optional “freevcardqr.com” credit under downloaded codes can be disabled before downloading.
Because static QR codes cannot be edited after printing, you are responsible for test-scanning your code — ideally as a printed proof — before ordering any print run. We are not responsible for printing costs arising from typos, unreadable color choices, or print sizes that are too small to scan.
You agree not to use the Service to encode content that is unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, infringing, or malicious (including links to malware or phishing pages), or to impersonate another person without authority. You also agree not to attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service in ways that violate applicable law.
The Service’s design, branding, and code are owned by us or our licensors. The vCard format is an open standard, and “QR Code” is a registered trademark of DENSO WAVE INCORPORATED. Nothing in these terms transfers any of our intellectual property to you, except the rights to your generated codes described in section 3.
The Service may link to third-party websites, such as optional donation pages. Those sites have their own terms and privacy practices, and we are not responsible for them. Nothing loads from third parties unless you click such a link.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted availability. We do not guarantee that every generated code will be readable by every scanning device in every condition — readability depends on factors outside our control, such as print quality, size, contrast, and the scanning device.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or business opportunity, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the laws of India.
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version, and continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence, the courts at Chandigarh, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms or the Service.
